Katie is always seen with a smile on her face. She is always ready to put clients at ease- and as she perfects her skills as an artist, her enthusiasm is infectious.
Katie was driven by art from a young age. However, no one in the small, Pennsylvania mountain town where Katie grew up probably ever envisioned her becoming a tattoo artist in Miami. In fact, when Katie left her hometown for Florida right after high school graduation at the age of 18, she enrolled in college with a double major in political science and international business. After two years, Katie knew she was on the wrong path.
With her need to be creative, Katie realized that she had to choose a goal in life that did not involve sitting behind a desk for several hours every day. Some soul searching led her to conclude that working as a tattoo artist was the best way to express herself.
Determined to learn from and work with the best, Katie began a relentless campaign to be hired by Miami Tattoo. She remembers telling the general manager that she was going to work in the shop one day. Now, Katie works as our manager while she learns the art of tattooing.
Katie’s passion now is to make dreams come true for her clients. Her skills as a tattoo artist are continually evolving. With her innate love of learning, Katie is driven to see every encounter as an opportunity to discover something new and worthwhile.
